Here TodayArtist StatementThis is a series of photos looking act the impact of new roads on land that was previously used for farming. As opposed to the square format used for the Gone Tomorrow series, this series is in 1:2 aspect ratio. The wider format often enables the impact upon the surrounding farmland to be more evident in the image. Some photos are of new subdivisions that have yet to be built upon; in this state, they are temporary features of the landscape which I feel are worth recording.
