News28 February 2010 - I am exhibiting in the Art in the Woolshed exhibition, at Tawharanui Regional Park, which runs from 6-14 March 2010, concurrent with the Mahurangi Group Exhibition in Matakana. 8 November 2009 - My solo exhibition Leigh ... by night, to be held at the Leigh Sawmill Cafe, Dec 17 - Jan 17, is announced.
2 September 2009 - A group of us went to Black Sand Diva at the Sawmill on Saturday night and got totally blown away. If only a picture was worth a thousand notes!
18 August 2009 - The Developing Tank's first exhibiton is announced. The Developing Tank is a group of photographers from the Matakana region north of Auckland, that gets together once a month to talk about photography. Richard Smallfield started the group in 2008 to discuss the conceptual side of photography - ie: what do we want to say with our photos, where do we want to go from here in our image making and how do we get there? The group is not a camera club, because it doesn't get together to talk about cameras. In fact, it is far more likely to discuss art history than cameras, which are almost a taboo topic.
8 August 2009 - I am preparing a flier to send to local guest houses and businesses in the hope of generating some print sales. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
