| One problem with shooting at night is that it can be too
dark to see exactly what is in and what is out of the frame. I'd shot
this a few nights earlier, but not been pleased with the composition -
so decided to re-shoot. There was a vehicle in this version, which at
first dismayed, but then pleased me. It balances the composition, but
also dates the photo: one day it will be a vintage Land Cruiser. In
future I will shine a torch around more, to check my framing and avoid
a re-shoot. But, had I got it right the first time, I would not have
found a more effective image on the re-shoot.
I like the cold, wet rocks.
